The estate consists of a magnificent Georgian architecture 6-bedroom main house,a 2-bedroom Guest Cottage and a new 4 bedroom Cliff Cottage, all furnished in impeccable style and taste. The villa was originally built in 1898 and just underwent a lavish renovation by one of the world's most brilliant hoteliers.

The spacious and elegant living areas of Rio Chico are built around an indoor rock garden: this interior garden forms a lovely backdrop for romantic candlelight dinners. French doors open out from the dining room and adjacent family room/bar to the downstairs veranda and large (20 x 38 foot) pool overlooking the sea. Enjoy your choice of two fresh-water swimming pools or the secluded, white-sand beach for sunning or swimming in the sea.

This bedroom features two queen-sized beds, and a shared terrace with views of a private garden featuring a checkerboard lawn and a century-old, multi-tiered fountain. It also has access to the second story oceanview terrace and en-suite bathroom with a dual-headed walk-in shower.
-Bedroom 3 The Vintage Modern Suite is certainly playful, yet it is equally luxurious. This bedroom includes a king-sized bed, day bed, sitting room, and a shared terrace with views of a private garden featuring a checkerboard lawn and a century-old, multi-tiered fountain. It also has access to a second story oceanview terrace and en-suite bathroom with double marble vanity, a glass-enclosed bath with rainfall showerhead.
-Bedroom 4 The White Boutique Suite is inspired by all things white. This bedroom includes a king-sized bed, floor-to-ceiling glass doors that lead to a private balcony overlooking the Villa’s blooming butterfly garden, private Cove Beach, and the Caribbean Sea. The en-suite bathroom features a his and hers vanity, large marble bathtub, and walk-in rainfall shower.
-Bedroom 5 The Zen Suite, where an expansive floor-to ceiling, sliding glass window-wall runs the entire length of the space, offers unobstructed views of the Villa’s private Cove Beach, the base of Dunn’s River Falls and the Caribbean Sea. This bedroom features a king-sized bed, separate seating area, a private balcony with seating area, and an en-suite bathroom with his and hers vanity, a marble soaking bathtub and walk-in shower.
-Bedroom 6 The Retro Chic Suite showcases classic South Beach glam décor and features a king-sized bed, separate seating area, an expansive private balcony with direct views of Rio Chico’s private Cove Beach, the entrance to Dunn’s River Falls, and the Caribbean Sea. The en-suite bathroom includes a his and hers vanity, ample closets, free-standing pedestal tub and walk-in shower.

Cliff-Side Cottage - 4 Bedrooms:

-Bedroom 1 The Hermes Suite is an open concept suite featuring bold oranges and cool grays. The bedroom includes a king-size bed, large sitting area, and a private terrace with spectacular ocean views and a stone Tranquility Soaking Tub. The en-suite bathroom features dual porcelain vessel sinks, back-lit mirrors, and a large stone bathtub.
-Bedroom 2 Touch of Gold Suite is infused by a Midas touch of modern sophistication featuring a king-size platform bed, spacious sitting area that elegantly blends the indoors and outdoors, and a sprawling terrace with a Tranquility Soaking Tub overlooking the sea.

Cottage - 2 Bedrooms:

-Bedroom 1 The Fabulous White Suite is lavished with chic accents throughout. This bedroom features a king-sized bed, shared terrace with garden views, and an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub/shower combination.
-Bedroom 2 The Geometrix Room is a modern retreat with a king-size bed, shared terrace with garden views, and an en-suite bathroom complete with a backlit mirror, chic vanity, and bathtub/shower combination.

Rio Chico guests may spend as much or as little as they wish for food and beverage. If you want the finest food possible and do not want to bother with making decisions regarding every meal, you may pre purchase the food and beverage package for $250 per adult per day. This buys exquisite multi-course meals, snacks and an unlimited fully-stocked bar with brand-name labels. We can provide sample menus. Alternatively, you may simply visit with the chef and select more basic menus for which you will be billed directly from receipts.
